• About me

I draw my inspiration from nature, incorporating elements such as animals, pattern and landscapes into my work. My art is characterised by a sense of whimsy and playfulness, with a touch of surrealism. I use various materials including painting, drawing, mixed media, using bright bold colours to bring my imaginative ideas to life. Overall I want my art to be a celebration of creativity and a feast for the eyes.

My artistic journey as an artist began at a young age, when I discovered a love for creativity and self-expression. Growing up in the small town, I was surrounded by nature, where I found inspiration in my surroundings. As a child, my father would also take me fishing and hunting for rabbits. This imbued a deep appreciation of where my food comes from, and a connection to the animals and to nature we so often take for granted.

It wouldn’t take long before these visceral experiences found their way into my art.

I currently work in my studio at the bottom of the garden, in my home in Dublin.
